Welcome to Lassiter's STEM Academy

LHS STEM Academy offers a rigorous inquiry and research based education program focusing on two pathways: Biomedical Science and Engineering. The STEM curriculum culminates with student designed senior capstone research and internships connecting with local business and institution partners for real world experiences.

LHS STEM students are required to take STEM specific science, math, and foundations courses based on the pathway selected. However, the students take the rest of their courses at an honors or AP level with other highly accelerated Lassiter students. We are constantly adjusting and adding to our curriculum to meet the needs and expectations of our students. 

The Lassiter STEM Academy Application for the 2024-2025 school year is now closed.

The application will remain open until 11:59 pm on December 1, 2023. Applications received after that time will not be considered for admission. Congratulations to STEM Class of 2024!

This past year our first class of students graduated from the STEM Academy at Lassiter and have set an amazing example for all classes to follow! Our students are attending some of the most prestigious universities in the country and we are so proud of all your accomplishments and all the great things yet to come!
