Method principals and understanding: The are 2 different teaching methods are used in L.C. Piano Studio: Traditional and Suzuki.

It's very important to have a triangle of teacher, student and parent. The parent and the Child (the mother tongue method works very well even in traditional method). Participating of parent in the classroom creates more possibilities for the better success in learning piano. Parents should take notes during the lesson for a younger kids, wright the homework for the week. It is important to have parent, child and teacher work as a team.

12 -month Studio Policy: It is expected that students remain registered year-round in order to create an optimal learning environment. The tuition is equal amount for each month, all 12 month, year around. All students of L.C. Piano Studio should keep taking lessons over the summer in order to get better skills in piano learning and to remain their spots.

Pro-rated tuition: A new student that begins mid-month will have the tuition for that month pro-rated. No other discounts or refunds are made for missed lessons after the first month.

Policy Student's/parent's Copy: Every student must have a copy of this policy with his or her and parent signature.

Teacher-Student/Parent contact: Student/Parent contact should get in touch with the teacher directly via the teacher's cell phone or text. Phone call, text or Message should be sent to the teacher no later then 12 noon, 24 hours prior lesson time.

Calendars: your teacher will provide you with a calendar of lessons and events each semester indicating special events, recitals and days of Studio breaks (holidays). There are 3 semesters in the year separated as following: September-December; January-April and May -August. 2 recitals will be held every year. (in December and May). Please make sure to come on time for your recital and dress properly. Turn off your cell phone and make sure to keep your siblings quiet throughout the recital. Children younger 3 years should be especially supervised by parent to prevent loud sounds during the performances. The performance of each student is a special moment that deserves respectful silence. The L.C. Piano Studio will fully responsible for other settings of the recital.
