The 2016 Rally was officially opened by Mary Phillips BEM (British Empire Medal) Mary was awarded the medal in the Queen's Birthday Honours List for her services to charity over many years, including the driving of a Field Marshall Tractor from Lands End to John of Groats and back.

An Annual Vintage Rally and Country Fair held second weekend in September in spectacular countryside.
Held the second weekend of September each year and raising money for local charities
Organised by a committee of volunteers the event has run for over 30 years going from strength to strength and has become a well supported and famous part of the autumn calendar
The rally hosts a huge variety of country events including a large entry of vintage machinery and cars, dancing diggers, wild west shows, family dog show, dog scurry, clay pigeon shooting, archery, ploughing and harvesting with vintage machinery and horses, craft tent, car boot sale, many trade stalls, refreshment and beer tents etc
