Squatiniformes Buen 1926

Squatina Duméril, 1806: the single genus of it's order.

A shark, whose teeth are difficult to mix up with any other, but sometimes difficult to distinguish from Orectolobiformes. Attempts to identificate them to the species level are dubious (Engelbrecht et al., 2017).

Rather rare finds in local sands.

It seems, lateral.

Stereopairs:

The biggest!

Notice 2 outgrowths at the sides of apron.

One more lateral tooth.
