My spiffy hand-me-down Toyota can haul a tailer, so I can do track days again!
Before the first session.
170hp, Traction Control, Slipper Clutch and Quick Shift are very cool.
I am happy to say that my 1198 looked the same at the end of the
day as it did in the beggining, except the chicken strips are now gone.
Others were not so ugly. First Intermediate session there was a ~5 bike
crash in turn 6, 3rd Intermediate session there was a ~5 bike crash in turn 2.
Plus there were many many 1 bike crashes. Including Lash's Desmosedici RR.
There were 3 times as many crashes as I have seen on other track days.
Including:
Troy, who was pitted beside us.
But Jake had a good day.
Darren Beatty's shots:
Getting passed in Turn 2 by a racer from the Expert group doing instructor
duty in the Intermediate group.
Too much of the day was like, this, following groups of bikes riding 2 and 3 wide.
