Assessments are a crucial part of my educational plan for guiding my instruction by identifying strengths and weaknesses, monitoring student progress, and identifying whether we have meet the curricular needs.

Assessments are a great opportunity to utilize student engagement in community. Here are two examples of student Social Studies assessment that have students engaged in relevant topics and participating in local politics.
