527: East Preston to Gowrie

The 527 operated from East Preston to Gowrie via Northland shopping centre, Preston, Coburg, Pascoe Vale and Fawkner.

The 527 was originally operated by the Preston-Coburg Bus Service from their depot in Tynan St West Preston until the take over by Ivanhoe Bus Company in 1992, after which time it was operated by Ivanhoe from their Waterdale Rd West Heidelberg depot. On July 1 2010, Ivanhoe Bus Company was taken over by Ventura Bus Lines who now operate the service under the Ivanhoe name from West Heidelberg.

First services: 6.10am, 6.30am and 6.45am from East Preston to Gowrie, 7.05am from Northland to Gowrie, 6.20am from Gowrie to Northland.

PM peak frequency: Every 15 minutes until around 5pm then every 20 minutes.

Thursday and Friday night shopping services: Extra buses leave Northland for Gowrie at 7.50pm, 8.50pm and 9.10pm. Extra buses leave Gowrite for Northland at 8pm and 8.30pm.

Last services: 7.05pm from Northland to Gowrie, 7pm from Gowrie to Northland.

Saturday

First services: 6.55am from Northland to Gowrie, 6.45am from Gowrie to Northland.

Frequency: Every 20 minutes.
