Here is a short bio of myself.
Christos Kotsogiannis is Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter, Director of the Tax Administration Research Centre (TARC), and a Research Fellow at CESifo, Germany. Born in Athens, he earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Essex. His research focuses on public economics, political economics, environmental economics, and international trade, with publications in leading journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, International Tax and Public Finance, Journal of Urban Economics, and Economics Letters. He has been guest co-editor for special issues of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Environmental and Resource Economics, International Tax and Public Finance, and CESifo Economic Studies. He is currently Managing Editor of the Journal of Tax Administration and serves on the Editorial Board of FinanzArchiv/Public Finance Analysis. Professor Kotsogiannis has been a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund and a consultant for the World Bank and UN-WIDER. He served as Head of the Economics Department at the University of Exeter Business School (2011–2014) and held a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowship (2009–2011). In 2015, he was awarded the Copernicus International Fellowship from the University IUSS-Ferrara 1391 for his contributions to public economics. Since January 2017, he has been Chairman of the Management Board of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) of Greece.
