CHM 241 - Organic Chemistry

Introductory sophomore organic chemistry course. Covers key principles of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, organic structure and geometry, and organic functionality.

CHM 429 - Polymer Chemistry

Advanced polymer chemistry and polymer science course. Focuses on polymerization processes, polymerization kinetics, different types of polymerization mechanisms such as step growth/condensation, ionic, radical and coordination as well as copolymerization. Additional topics covered are some polymer characterization.

CHM 450B - Topics in Organic Chemistry - Organic Principles and Theory (Physical Organic Chemistry)

High level undergraduate course combining aspects of organic and physical chemistry. Covers advanced topics such as detailed reaction kinetics, reaction mechanism, Hammett Plots and other linear free energy diagram, photochemistry, non-covalent chemistry and polymer materials.
