Spirit of Christ Ladies Auxiliary
The Auxiliary was chartered in October, 2001 with the Knights of Columbus, for charitable, service and social purposes. We offer hospitality assistance to the SOC parish as requested, assist the Knights of Columbus with their various events and programs, as well as have our own projects. The Auxiliary is open to all adult women of the parish. Although we work closely with the Knights of Columbus, no affiliation with a Knight is necessary. Events which we participate include hosting breakfasts, lunches and social venues for parish-sponsored events (deacon meetings, 9Health Fair, pancake and burrito breakfasts, blood drives), Thanksgiving and Christmas food basket delivery and staging an Auxiliary-wide garage sale in which the net proceeds benefit local charities nominated by our members. We also have fun, social events such as touring Celestial Seasonings, our annual fall brunch and picnics during the summer while listening to the concerts at McIlvoy Park. We meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm. If you are interested or have any questions, please call Cindy Dudden at (303)940-6992.
Our term follows a two-year schedule, on a fiscal basis, running July 1st through June 30th (even/odd years). Annual dues are $12, payable by March 31st. The Auxiliary’s organizational structure is very relaxed, with many of the responsibilities spread among its members.
