Artreach

Artreach - outreach through the arts - is an expansion of Knox's former Yarn Circle.

Our goal is still to spread warmth, comfort, healing, and peace to anyone living with challenges such as illness and grief, however, our aim is to expand the ways in which we can reach out and support people. 

A knitted or crocheted shawl, a quilted wrap, a pocket heart, a hand-drawn card, or a photo postcard are examples of items that can lift someone's spirits. As a group, we meet to work on creating items for this purpose. Just coming together as a group can lift our own spirits too, so ALL are welcome to join in - even if you're just coming out to visit with others in the circle. As we continue, we hope to find more ways to reach out through arts activities that help people feel connected. Please let us know if you are interested in gathering with us.
