Knox United Church

Port Sydney, ON

Celebrate our 136th Year with us in 2021!

"Come in, Come in and sit down, You are a part of the family..."

Meet a welcoming congregation in a historical church atmosphere where inclusion, kindness, outreach, progressive reflection, fun, laughter, and activities abound.

(website updated for July 25th, 2021)

Our flag is lowered and our sign is tied with orange streamers to show that EVERY CHILD MATTERS as we honour the children whose remains have been found in unmarked graves:

215 - Kamloops, BC

751 - Cowessess First Nation, SK

182 - near Cranbrook, BC

161 - Penelakut Island, BC

Our sincere condolences go out to the families and friends of the two swimmers who drowned on Sunday, June 27th, after going down the rapids at the Port Sydney dam. Our best wishes go to the swimmer who survived the incident, as well as to all witnesses and first responders who are also processing this traumatic event.

Please - EVERYONE - do what you can to promote WATER SAFETY.

  • Enjoy funny & heartwarming messages from a Canadian talking dog at: Pluto Living on YouTube

  • This school district's annual Choral Festival was canceled, so the students all sang their individual a cappella portion of "Over the Rainbow" in their separate homes, and put them together to create this masterpiece. Check out the Chino Valley Unified School District - this is beautiful!
