The Farm House, or "Niemi House" is the original building on the site and was constructed around the turn of the century. There are three rooms for viewing, furnished with period furniture: Living Room; Kitchen and Bed Room.

The Spirit Baptist Church was moved to the site in 1998. It was originally constructed in 1890.

The Church contains changing exhibits and has a permanent military display.

The Keto House is not original to the property. It was moved to the Knox Creek Heritage location by the previous owner. The building was built around 1900. It has three exhibit rooms, which contain: a one room school room which displays memorabilia from the schools in the area from 1890 to the present; a logging exhibit; and a representation of a co-op store.

The Log Cabin was moved to the property in 1998 and was restored as close as possible to its original condition. It contains two rooms displaying artifacts of early settlers to the area.

The Waahto sauna was donated to the Knox Creek Heritage Center by Paul and Sylvia Wollemann. It was moved to the Knox Creek Heritage Center in 1998, and was restored to its original condition. The sauna was located on the Emil Waahto farm in Brantwood, and was built in 1905.

The Museum (Pole Building) contains many displays of early settlers, including a black smith shop, tools used by farmers, wood stoves used in homes, tools used by craftsmen and mechanics, etc. The collection is quite extensive, showing the "early" implements used by early settlers to the area.

The Implement Shed houses a thresher, an old tractor and various other implements used in farming. It also has a display of skis and memorabilia of Prentice Hydraulics.

The Out House is actually the ninth building on the property. It is original and will be put on display for those who want to remember their days in the "old two holer". It will be complete with a Montgomery Wards catalogue.

The Gift Shop contains souvenirs for purchase during your visit to the Knox Creek Heritage Center. It is located adjacent to the farm house.
