Historical Photos of SE Price County

Included in the exhibits at the Knox Creek Heritage Center are photographs of the area, which include logging, farming, buildings, social life, etc.

    • The slides in this presentation depict buildings that existed in the years gone by (some of which still exist).

  • Logging played a very important part in the economy of the area in the past, as it does today. The following are examples of picture exhibits in the logging display in the Keto house. Click here to view.

  • While Tripoli was not a part of SE Price County, it played a big part in the education and commerce of it. Click here to view pictures of the main street and buildings in Tripoli.

  • Clifford had a small community in the early part of the twentieth century. Click here for a few pictures of the area.

  • Brantwood had a vibrant community at one time. Located one mile north of US Highway 8, it boasted of a hotel, car dealership, creamery, Co-op store, post office, church and lumber yard.
