Incident 1a & 1b: Itching and Burning in my clothes and skin. Winter Harbour, Vancouver Island BC, and Jasper National Park Alberta. 1992 & 1993/94.
Incident 1a 1992 - Winter Harbour, Vancouver Island BC
I travelled to Vancouver Island to spend time with my girlfriend (at the time) Sharon H. We drove to her former home in Winter Harbour on the west coast of northern Vancouver Island. The second day we were there I changed my clothes and my feet began to itch and burn ferociously all over. This lasted for about a half hour and I was in considerable pain.
Sharon suggested washing my feet in the tub, which I did. the pain and itching ended almost immediately upon washing my feet. I changed my socks and Sharon washed my clothes. This incident did not reoccur with any other clothes. Duane had access to my luggage and clothing as I was living at his home near cochrane alberta at the time.
Incident 1b 1993/94 - Jasper National Park Alberta
Duane said "boy you are gonna itch tonight" to me as we (jennifer and myself) left Westbay Beach resort in central BC for a stopover that night camping in Jasper National Park. This would have been in mid august 1993 or 1994. We were visitng my parents at the lake where we vacationed as a family in past years. I had gotten a sunburn that day but never like this.
Upon arrival in Jasper it was late and we went to bed in the tent. I put on a t-shirt that I wore to bed at night regularly. We were in a tent. Approx. 20 minutes later my back began to burn and itch horribly all over. The more I scratched the worse the pain and itching became. This lasted all night and I was unable to sleep the pain was so severe.
The next morning we went to the hot spring to swim thinking it would help my back. The itching and pain ended upon entering the water.
