Biography

I grew up as a country boy near Lewiston, MN. I graduated from Luther High School, Onalaska, WI in 2001. From there, I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN to become a teacher.I graduated from Martin Luther College in May of 2005 with a major in Education and emphasis in Social Studies. After graduation, I worked at St. John's Lutheran School in Pardeeville, WI for 7 years. While working at St. John's, I fell in love with using technology in my teaching and developed a passion for it. In 2012, I started teaching 5th grade and serving as the Technology Coordinator at St. Martin's Lutheran Schoool in Watertown, SD. Never having officially served as a Technology Coordinator led me to realize that getting some formal training would be very beneficial for me. This led me to pursue my Master's work in Educational Technology from DSU. I graduated with my Master's in Educational Technology (MSET) degree in the summer of 2017.

In the summer of 2017, I took a new position as Technology Coordinator and teacher at Emanuel Lutheran School in New London, WI.

I am married to my wife, Kelly, and we have four children, two boys and two girls, ranging in age from 4-10 years old.

In my free time, I enjoy hunting, working on house projects, playing sports, and officiating basketball.
