MM2 HD 0.3 beta

Midtown Madness 2 HD is a graphic enhancing mod. It's function is to improve the visual of the game, allowing the player to have a even more enjoyable gameplay.

It replaces lots of in-game textures with better, higher quality ones, replaces some of the 3D models of the game with new ones, either converted from GTA San Andreas or edited by myself. It's also one of the first mods replacing some of the in-game props, MM2 HD replaces some of the street lights and telephone poles with models converted from GTA San Andreas, with breakable parts. Also, the replaced street lights that include flags are also fully compatible with any mod that replaces it's textures, since they use the game's original ones. Last but not least important, one of the new features of this version is a totally new building added to London - a scratch made model of the iconic 30 St Mary Axe a.k.a. "The Gherkin", created specially to fit on this game.

This mod is still incomplete. Being such an ambicious project, and the fact the actual community of this old game is becoming really small making the ammount of possible users really small, it's development had multiple pauses since I began creating it about 2 years ago and the final released version lacks too much content to be considered complete. However, it's highly recommended to use other graphic enhancing mods at the same time with MM2 HD, such as Revisited v5 or Shader Mod 2 Gold, to have a even better experience.
