We have raised rabbits going on 5 generations, mostly Californians and New Zealand's for local and county 4H and FFA shows. We are adding TAMUKS (Tx A&M University of Kingsville) for their heat tolerance and Standard Rex for both the pelt colors and meat. Conformation is a must, along with temperament and mothering ability of kits (kittens).
