All Kerley researchers owe a big debt of gratitude to Marina Blatherwick (1847 - 1932). Her work on the Kerley genealogy in the late 1800's and early 1900 provides the foundation for most of the information that we have today about this family. Her first-hand interviews with some of the elderly surviving descendants of the original immigrants are particularly important. Attached below is a short biography of this remarkable lady as well as transcripts of some of her early letters discussing this family.
