The Village Hall at Kelshall was originally the School, built in 1895.
It has excellent facilities including the Hall itself which extends to over 1,000 square feet including a quiet meeting room at the back with glazed doors to the rear garden, kitchen areas, bar facilities and cloakrooms.
Typical events that have been held at the village hall include Pre-School, charity lunches, children’s parties, evening dances and parties, lectures, committee meetings and exhibitions.
Regular functions include a ‘Pub’ evenings, harvest supper, meetings of the Parish Meeting and the N Herts Villages Research Group.
The village hall is managed by a committee of volunteers and relies solely on the revenue from bookings, donations, legacies and grant aid.
