Unscrew Window motor power junction from regulator frame
Remove four screws holding window motor to the frame.
Remove window motor by pulling away from the gear box lifting slightly at the rear.
It might be necessary to use a large standard screw driver to disconnect the window motor from the rubber coupler.
The coupler is a press fit at both the motor and gear box end.
On window motor side of the coupler is a plastic gear cap which can be removed from the rubber coupler.
Leave the rubber coupler on the gearbox
To remove the gearbox you first need to unload the tension from the regulator spring.
The gear box is held in place with two 10mm screws and one Phillips screw.
Manually raise the regulator by turning the rubber coupler until the access hole.
The 10mm screws are exposed however the Phillips screw is only accessible when the regulator is raised approx 50%.
Remove the Phillips screw leaving the two 10mm screws in place
Continue to raise the regulator until you reach the bump stop
Unscrew the two 10mm screws and remove the gearbox
