Magician v1.6.15 released.

• The Promotional Friday Night Magic cardset is fixed (it contains all the cards now).
• Last release fixed a typo in a card name: Mayor of Avabruck was misspelled as Mayor of Averbruck in Promotional Prerelease. Now Magician will automatically correct that name when a card list is read. However, this is not a perfect solution, unfortunately; see below...

NOTE:

If you have edited your list/deck in v1.6.14, and you have Mayor of Avabruck cards of Promotional Prerelease in your list/deck, then such cards have disappeared from it!

To restore your Mayor of Avabruck cards, do the following:

• Open the list/deck in Magician.
• Select from the main menu: Tools \ History...
• Right click the topmost line in the tree view and select: Create Snapshot
• A new list/deck is created; close the dialog and the history window.

The newly created list/deck contains the correct number of the Mayor of Avabruck cards: edit the original list/deck to have the same number of the Mayor of Avabruck cards.

(You could also save the new list/deck, and possibly overwriting the original one. However, that would delete the history of original list/deck!)

Magician v1.6.11 released.

• Several corrections are made to the card database (both original and erratated).
• Importing a cardset to Magician while erratated cards were displayed could overwrite the original cards with the erratated ones. That is fixed now.
• The Perl scripts are updated. An issue with extra (unexpected) newline characters in the errata is fixed.

• The Gatecrash cardset is added.
• A new ability 'Color indicator' is added. The color indicator is a circular symbol defining the card's color (only some cards have them). (Note that the result is different between non-erratated and erratated cards.)
• Various errors in the erratated cards are fixed. For instance, double-faced cards had issues.
• The Perl scripts are updated. Issues with card image names, color indicator, and split cards are fixed.

Magician v1.6.8 released.

• The chapter 26. Importing New Cardsets (etc) to Magician by Yourself of the helps is improved.
• Now Magician will automatically unpack any zip-files in its image directory (e.g. c:\Magician\Images). This allows easier deployment of card image packages. (Note that the card image packages will be deleted after they have been unpacked.)
• A small issue in the image filename handling is fixed. For example, now the image for Circle of Protection: Red can be named as Circle of Protection Red.jpg (earlier only Circle of Protection# Red.jpg was accepted).
• Remark: there is a new site, magiciancardimages, containing card images for Magician.

Magician v1.6.7 released.

• Final versions of Planechase 2012 Edition and Return to Ravnica cardsets are added. Planechase 2012 contains all the cards now (some phenomenon and plane cards were missing).
• Now Magician opens popup windows centered inside Magician's main window instead of the desktop. This fixes popup window positioning when using multiple monitors.
• Added a bunch of Perl scripts that anyone can use, for instance, download and import a new cardset, and its card images, to Magician. You can also use the scripts to download/import the latest prices, card rulings, and card errata. See the chapter 26. Importing New Cardsets (etc) to Magician by Yourself in the helps (Help\index.html). Note that new abilities (if any) of the imported cardset will not be supported, though. (You have to wait for the official update for that.)
