The kanji database this package uses is based on the KANJIDIC2 dictionary file. This file is the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group, and is used in conformance with the Group's licence.

Kanji information used in this recognition system comes from the KanjiVG project. The kanji data is copyright (C) Ulrich Apel 2009-2010 and is used under the terms of a Creative Commons licence.

Recognition models derived from KanjiVG data are released under the same license as KanjiVG. They are available in the 'kanji-recognizer' folder of your SD card after you install them. Please note that those files are architecture dependent and can only be used on Android (and possibly other ARM devices). Relevant filenames are listed below:

    • handwriting-ja-kvg-full.model
