Each month Area Representatives will nominate a person or persons to be selected for the Kentucky Shine Award. For the remaining three months, the KACDE Governing Board will decide nominees for the award.
This award is to recognize the District employees and supervisors who have risen above the call of duty and have done something outstanding for their Conservation District on the county, state, or national level!
All winners of the Kentucky Shine Award are eligible to win the KACDE Employee Choice Award that is awarded each year. The state winner will be forwarded to the Southeast Region to competition.
