Babylon may be the third world power of Bible history, but its origins go back much further, to the very Tower of Babel. It is amazing that the British Museum has such an extensive collection of artefacts from this ancient nation, especially considering that today it has been virtually wiped off the map. Some of the most famous accounts in the Bible concern Babylon, and nearly all of the most famous Babylonian artefacts are in the British Museum for you to see!
