April 3: As announced in class, the midterm exam is on Tuesday, April 22. It covers two chapters: Ch 8 & 11. I will discuss more on the exam later.
April 8: Homework 3 is posted in the Assignment page. It is a series of R questions and will be important for the coming exam. Please try it.
April 9: Tomorrow I will distribute practice questions for the coming midterm exam. This is a series of R questions. So you have two practice R questions so far, one from HW 3 and the second from the practice. They will be very important for the midterm exam.

Need a laptop. You will use R.
The exam covers everything we have done so far. The major topics are nonlinear regression models in Ch 8 and binary response models in Ch 11. Also study the review of econometrics that we covered at the beginning of the semester.
How to prepare?
review homework 1,2,3.
review practice midterm questions.
review class notes and read the textbook carefully.
Solve textbook exercises (both theoretical and empirical exercises).
April 24: The group project was distributed in class.
April 29: Group Project.
Make a group of three or less. If you want to you can work on your own.
Submission deadline is May 8, Thursday, by 5pm (in the evening).
We will use the class website in Hanyang LMS for submission. More information will be provided.
A few groups will be selected to present for the entire class.
The presentation date is May 13, Tuesday.
Read directions in the handout carefully and follow them closely.
If you do not analyze the given data and just write a report, you will get zero point. You need to do actual data analysis.
May 1: Next Tuesday, May 6, is a holiday and there will be no class.
May 9: The groups who will present on Tuesday, May 13:

15 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A.
Make sure that all members have an equal share in the presentation.

May 13: There will be no class on Thursday, May 15. It is the school anniversary. Instead, we will have an online video session.

The lecture will open on May 15. It will close on May 22. So you have one week to listen to the lecture.
