• The exam covers everything we have done so far. But the emphasis is on the review of econometrics and nonlinear regression models.

  • review class notes and read the textbook carefully.

April 24: The midterm exam is tomorrow (April 25). Bring your laptop and come early, by 10:20am.

• The exam covers Chapter 11 (binary response model), Chapter 9 (simultaneous equations model, selection, measurement errors), Chapter 12 (IV regression), and Chapter 10 (panel data). Also, make sure to review the nonlinear regression models in Chapter 8. 

• How to prepare? 

  • review homework 4.

  • solve the last year's final (distributed in class). 

  • review class notes and read the textbook carefully.

  • solve empirical exercises in chapters 9,11,12.
