ProtoSnap

The ProtoSnap is a microprocessor with various LEDs, buttons, and sensors. This device requires no additional wiring, but there is a small area where the user can add his or her own parts. In addition, once the user understands how to fully program the ProtoSnap, they can break off the various pieces to use in other projects. This JumboBooks tutorial teaches the user how to control the ProtoSnap with LabVIEW.

The tutorial starts off with a few buttons and a light sensor monitor that the user can play around with, as shown below.

The tutorial then includes the same example pieces of code as in the previous tutorials (except the EV3), for the user to play around with.

Lastly, the tutorial has challenges for the user to create his or her own code, with given hints and solutions.
