The details of this year's ISMC are as follows: 

• • Date: 28th March 2026 (Saturday)

• Time: 09:00–18:00 

• Venue: City University of Hong Kong

• Fee: Free of charge

• Rundown:

  •  09:00–09:30: Individual Event Registration

  •  09:30–12:00: Individual Event

  •  12:00–13:30: Lunch Break

  •  13:30–14:00: Team Event Registration

  •  14:00–16:00: Team Event

  •  16:00–17:00: Estimathon by Jane Street

  •  17:00–18:00: Prize Ceremony

• Eligibility: Full-time students below 19 years of age studying Secondary 6 (or equivalent) or below on 28th March 2026 are eligible.

  • Applications through your school or individual applicants are both welcome!

• Individual Event:

  • Junior Division: open for students studying Secondary 3 (or equivalent) or below

  • Senior Division: open for students studying Secondary 6 (or equivalent) or below

• Team Event:

  • Teams consist of 2–4 students

  • At most 2 students in each team may be studying Secondary 4 (or equivalent) or above

• What to bring?

                Stationery (Calculators and Protractors are NOT ALLOWED), HKID AND Student ID 

(Other identification documents may be accepted as alternatives)

If you are a school representative, please wear your school uniform as our award ceremony will be held on the same day. Please arrive at the lecture hall assigned to you at 9:00 a.m. for Individual Event registration. A CityUHK access QR Code will be sent to you. You will be asked to present the QR Code at entry to campus. Otherwise, you may need to register using your HKID.
