Since 2020, my co-bloggers and I have been regularly posting about teaching. See all posts related to that category here: https://economistwritingeveryday.com/category/teaching/
For example, this is how I assigned published empirical papers for undergraduates to study - https://economistwritingeveryday.com/2022/12/17/empirical-papers-for-undergraduate-statistics-students/

I have mostly been teaching technical classes at Samford. Some students have felt it was too hard, but here are some of the positive reviews I have received in formal teaching evaluations over the years at Samford.
Data401 Spring 2019
“Very good at laying out course material. Makes complex situations sound simple and easy to understand. Gives ample tools for success.”
Labor Economics Fall 2020
“Loves the subject, and cares about teaching the information”
Data401 Fall 2020
“Dr. Buchanan is very knowledgeable in the field of statistics. She has a passion for teaching at Samford. She is also very well established to teach Advance Analytics and does so very well.”
Data401 Spring 2020
“I thought Dr. Buchanan did far and above more than any of my other professors in response to the COVID-19 outbreak forcing us all to go home. She consistently reached out to the students about their health and mental health and did an amazing job transitioning to online learning. My only complaint at all about Dr. Buchanan was that she never gave us a schedule on the syllabus, so everyday I had a loose idea of what we were going to be doing, but I never really knew. Overall though, Dr. Buchanan did a fantastic job helping to make transitioning to online learning bearable and should be highly commended for her efforts. Thank you.”
Data401 Fall 2020
“Nice, Funny, Interested in students”
Labor Economics Fall 2021
“this course was a fun and helpful reminder to me about what i love about economics: ideas!”
Econ201 Spring 2024
“Engaging lectures and guest speakers. Felt very prepared for test. There was a decent amount of homework but never seemed to be overwhelming”
Data201 Fall 2025
“This is such an important course, in my opinion. It is an easy class to dismiss if you do not consider the real world implications. Dr.B discussed in class that, while yes AI will replace many things, if you understand Data and Data Analytics, you will be better equipped to navigate the world full of information. Similarly, if you do not understand data at all, you will be easily manipulated by misleading statistics and less efficient at using AI in your profession. This is a very important class that should stay and have emphasis on real world implications of Data Analytics.”
Econ201 Fall 2025
“She is a great economics professor.”
