I frequently give public talks at campuses. I am happy to talk about any of my research, but the modal talk I give is related to my scholarship on economic freedom. I have also lectured on improving economic education, my book on The Simpsons, city-county consolidation, the decline in military conscription, the spread of medical marijuana laws, and international labor standards.
I subscribe to the Deirdre McCloskey approach to campus visits, which is the big effort is to get me out of Morgantown. Once I'm at a school I want to meet people and talk, even if several classes or to small groups of students.
