Professional Disposition Statement

My personal disposition consists of my values, commitments, and professional ethics as an educator. My values as an educator include: Respect, Patience, Honesty, Dedication, and most importantly Accountability. Accountability shows the ability to take responsibility for one’s actions and display self-improvement. A commitment to show up on time daily, never give up on a student, and to have realistic expectations for success is necessary for in order to be an effective educator. Being a positive role model and using sound judgement are critical when practicing professional ethics. Accepting the fact that continual improvement is always necessary and never being satisfied with average instruction is essential.
