안녕하세요.

제주대학교 초등교육과 초등교육전공 조교수 연준모입니다.

저는 2017년 플로리다주립대학교에서 교육과정 및 수업(특수교육 분야) 전공으로 철학박사 학위를 받았으며, 동시에 플로리다 읽기교육 연구센터에서 연구조교로 일했습니다. 또한 박사학위 취득 전에는 측정 및 통계를 부전공하였으며, 서울대학교 대학원 특수교육전공 및 서울교육대학교 교육과정전공에서 각각 석사학위를 받았습니다. 저의 주요 연구 관심 분야는 특수교육(학습장애 및 학습부진), 교수방법, 학습심리, 교육측정 및 평가 등입니다.

대학 교원이 되기 전에는 서울교육대학교 초등교육과를 졸업한 후 서울 시내 공립 초등학교에서 통합학급 교사로 일했습니다. 그리고 미국에서는 특수학교 교사로 있었구요. 제가 가진 교사로서의 경험과 연구자로서의 경험은 저로 하여금 연구와 현장을 어떻게 효과적으로 연결지을 수 있을지 종종 고민하게 만듭니다.

Hello!

I am Joonmo Yun, an assistant professor in the Teachers College at Jeju National University in Jeju, South Korea.

I received Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction (with a concentration in Special Education) at Florida State University in 2017, working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida Center for Reading Research. Prior to my doctoral studies, I minored in Measurement and Statistics at Florida State University and received a Master’s degree in Special education from Seoul National University, and another Master's degree in Curriculum Studies from Seoul National University of Education. My main academic interests are special education(learning disability, dyslexia), instruction, science of learning, educational measurement and assessment.

Prior to working in academia, I have been an elementary school teacher working at public schools of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (South Korea) after I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Seoul National University of Education in 2002. When I was in the U.S., I was a paraprofessional teacher in a special education classroom. The experiences I have as a researcher as well as a teacher encourage me to continuously consider how to bridge the gap between research and practice.
