Clinical Work

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and health service provider in Massachusetts, though I am not actively practicing these days.

My clinical training is quite diverse; I have worked with adults, adolescents, and children in individual, couple, family, and group settings. My clinical work in graduate school was based at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, one of the major outpatient treatment centers in the Chicago area. After graduate school, I completed my APA-Approved Pre-Doctoral Internship (like a residency) at the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center on the West Side of Chicago, where I primarily conducted psychotherapy and assessment with veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I then completed a Post-Doctoral Clinical Fellowship at the Stone Center Counseling Service at Wellesley College.

Despite this broad training, my clinical interests focus on working with young and mid-life adults who have anxiety and/or depression. I also have a particular interest in identity development and gender and sexuality issues.
