Trees form an integral part of our built environment. They can complement, mirror or soften this space. They add not only a visual aspect creating changes both seasonally and throughout their lives in terms of stature and colour, but they also provide important habitats for our ever marginalised wildlife. In addition trees improve our habitat by fulfilling screening roles, absorbing sound and particulates, intercepting rainfall and providing shade.
