For his play Black Maria, Jesurun surrounded his audience with four movie screen walls and a movie screen ceiling. On the screens vivid images of the actors performing and landscapes interacted with one another, demanding the audience to respond by swiveling their heads from screen to screen in order to engage the mystery at hand.
