When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking and kayaking. Recently, I've also taken an interest in distance running; I've run 7 half marathons and 1 full marathon. I'm an avid ping-pong player and play every chance that I get (we should play sometime!) and I also enjoy golfing (though I'm not very good!). Having grown up in Lexington, Kentucky, I'm a diehard University of Kentucky basketball fan (Go Big Blue!). I'm also a huge fan of NBA basketball (Go Bulls!). I love reading biographies and other historical nonfiction. In addition to Kentucky, I've lived in Washington D.C., North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, and South Africa. My wife and I have been married since 2009 and we have a son and two daughters.
