TEC 2035 ½ Credit Elective 9, 10, 11, 12



This introductory course puts students directly into the driver's seat of owning and maintaining their own vehicle.  Students will be hands-on with hand tools, power tools and Auto Lab equipment while learning the basics of cars and safety.  Throughout the course students will have the opportunity to explore and learn what it takes to have a successful career in a transportation related field.  From basic maintenance and repair, students will build their skills with the basic systems of the car throughout the semester.  Students will also learn the basics of automotive safety and develop an understanding of how to purchase, own and maintain a car.
