2014 Summer Schedule

Yingying Wei, Zhenke Wu, Yifei Sun; Tianchen Qian, Yenny Webb Vargas, Qing Cai, Yuxin Zhu are organizing a summer empirical process study group to study Dr. Kosorok's book Introduction to Empirical Processes and Semiparametric inference. https://catalyst.library.jhu.edu/catalo/bib_3641332 (electronic version available from JHU library) The group plans to meet three times a week (Mon/Wed/Fri), from 4:00pm to 5:30pm in the Biostat library. Each time, one person does a presentation regarding the corresponding key concepts, theorems as well as examples, either with or without slides, and gives out two homework problems for people to work afterwards. The schedule is a bit intense as people have traveling plans around mid July. Please feel free to drop by at any session that you might be interested in
