Topic: NIH’s grant application process from submission to completion with focus on NIAID methods grants
Grant applications to National Institutes of Health (NIH) are submitted as solicited (in response to funding opportunities) or unsolicited (investigator initiated) proposals. I will discuss the different stages of NIH grant application process and provide helpful websites and contacts. New NIH policies for new investigators and multiple investigators will be discussed. Information will be provided for those interested in global health research and collaborations. The presentation will focus on NIAID methods (statistical, mathematical) grants for experimental and epidemiological studies.
