Undergraduate Life

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program in Computer Science at JHU, I had completed my bachelor studies in India. After four years of study at one of the top engineering institutes in India, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), I graduated with a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. During the course of my undergraduate stay at the scenic campus of IITB, I took part in as many diverse and challenging extra-curricular activities as I could like robotics, fine arts, dancing, organizational, mentoring, tutoring, sports, designing, etc. I was a regular at the robotics competitions within the campus as well as at the inter-collegiate fests (videos). Towards the middle of my third year, I started developing an interest in Image Processing and Computer Vision. With a view to work in research and development of new technologies, I started working on projects that would help me in applications for graduate schools.
