Uncle Hans

Before Hans married Martha, he worked for her father in his dairy. He did not enjoy milking cows, so after marriage, he became a farmer, raising berries. Besides strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, he also grew pole beans and cauliflower. After retiring, Hans began restoring old tractors, and ended up with about a dozen really nice ones

Martha helped with the farming, keeping the books and whatnot. She also worked in the kitchen of Sandy Grade School
