Shooting scene and ballastics experts Lucien C. “Luke” Haag and his son, Michael G. Haag participated in the NOVA documentary.

Luke Haag has had more than 100 peer reviewed articles published since 1974 in The AFTE Journal, the official publication of The Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners. In 2014-2015, the Journal published four articles by Lucien Haag that directly bear on his work for PBS.
