Welcome to my website.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Early Childhood Studies at the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. I am the Course Leader for the Professional Doctorate in Education, which is designed for educators who want to engage in research at doctoral level. I have led modules on research methods for undergraduates, postgraduate and doctoral candidates. 

My own research focuses on collaborations between academic and educators. I look into the cultural and psychological factors that shape what we consider as evidence to use to inform practice. I have conducted research with primary schools and educators for ten years, on topics such as noise sensitivity, language development, stunting and sensory needs.
