Reflection: Is there any benefit to using technology for assessment?
How did technology change how you taught, monitored student progress,
or provided feedback?
There are many benefits to using technology for assessment! Time saving when grading is one, ability to differentiate another, and digital access to student work yet another. Technology allows me to quickly see into the thinking and progress of students so that I can give appropriate support in the moment rather than the next day or even further out. Technology allows me to not only see the need for differentiation but also facilitate it in a way that does not single students out but meets their needs. Digital feedback allows me to quickly and efficiently get detailed feedback to students in a way that they can access from anywhere and won't use in their backpack.
