Kind words from parents and students of the Jehangir's School of Speech and Drama Family.
I still vividly remember that day in November 2006, when I took my first born, Phiroze, for his audition to get into the Jehangir’s School of Speech & Drama (JSSD). Phiroze was nervous to face the “imposing” Nosherwan Jehangir despite having practiced his poem diligently. Fortunately, at the end of the piece, I noticed Phiroze getting a “thumbs up” from Nosherwan and from that day onwards we have been a part of this amazing “family” called The Jehangir’s School of Speech & Drama.
What my sons Phiroze and Yohann (who joined in Nov. 2011) learnt at JSSD was to have confidence in themselves while reading, acting, improvising and miming, and to have a stage presence, whether in school or university performances that have been appreciated by their teachers and peers. They learnt how to incorporate the more theoretical aspects of drama into their performances as their teachers worked on their weaknesses and brought out their strengths. It also exposed them to different genre of poems and pieces and sharpened their ability to memorize their parts. More than anything else, it has inspired a love for drama and the stage without which my sons may not have discovered what is now an integral part of their identity.
As a parent, I did not have to put in any effort during the run-up to their Trinity examinations. Meher, Nosherwan, Nina and the other teachers were extremely thorough and systematic in preparing the children for the examinations.
After his Grade 5 Trinity exam, Phiroze went on to become a part time teacher at JSSD. He enjoyed this experience so much that he attended and taught his classes even during his IB exams. Nina and all the other teachers have always treated my sons with so much love that they are proud to be a part of “The Jehangir’s School Family”.
THANK YOU for making Speech and Drama such an integral part of Phiroze and Yohann’s lives.

A big thank you to the whole Jehangir's School team! Thank you, Miss Nina, for all your efforts and your persistent follow up with students as well as parents. It was a lovely experience to be associated with such a hard-working team for the last few years. Will miss you all. Wishing you great success for all your future endeavours!

Thank you, Miss Nina, for all your support. Truly impressive. And I really appreciate the way you individually concentrate on every child. Though you all run a very busy schedule, you never compromise on bringing out the best in the child. Running through processes and making them simpler for us to understand, patiently addressing every query of so many parents, and also constantly swapping between so many things which we may not even be aware of is remarkable. When we see teachers like you working so genuinely, students and even their parents get motivated to do their best. Thank you very, very much!

Jehangir's School has been a huge part of my life ever since I started at six years old. For eight years, I've spent almost all my Fridays and sometimes Saturdays at the school, and it's been such an amazing journey. I can't believe it's over. I'll forever miss all the teachers who have made me who I am in speech and drama today, with all the tears and laughs along the way. I'll always miss this amazing academy.
