Friends of Daly Nature Reserve, Gisborne

Daly Nature Reserve is an integral part of the Gisborne township. It is habitat for many native wildlife species and is also part of a natural wildlife corridor. The reserve is unique because of the remnant native vegetation it contains and because it is situated in such an accessible area so this natural environment can be appreciated easily by all of our community. A Friends group has recently been formed and they are busy removing weeds and replanting native species where needed.
