Grade 6 Project: Making an Insect

Getting Started:

• 1. Download and Install Blender

  2. Make sure you have a copy of the Blender Basics handout.

Warm up:

• 1. Download and open ToyBox1.blend.

  2. Practice Duplicating, Grabbing, Rotating and Scaling the objects to make your own scene.

Ideas:

• • Make a neighborhood with a few houses, a forest

  • Make a family of people, dinosaurs, aliens

  • Recreate a scene from a movie

  • Change the colour of the people, car, house, dinosaur.

Grade 5 Project:

Here is a simple human model to get you started.
