The Hidden: Source is one of my favorite games of all time and I have made several maps for it. It practically taught me how to create balanced multiplayer maps that people like to play (not only for fps games, most of the methods can be used in other games too).

I wanted to create a perfect map for lan games. Usually Hidden:Source is played with 9 players so maps needs to be big. I created a map that would work even with three or four people but still had enough room for full server. This is my personal favorite map in Hidden.

One hardcore Hidden player once said to me that this is the best map in the whole mod. I agree, if the server is full. But just with a few people this map doesn't really play that well. Still it is has one of the best layouts that I have ever created to any map ever.
Deathtrap

A map created on a lan party. The best map to introduce new players to Hidden. It has a very small and compact layout and it plays well even with just 2 players. I wouldn't suggest playing it more than 5 players though, because of its size.

Just an another Hidden map fun for a few rounds. I converted this one to Demons vs Humans and gave it a total visual reimagination, expanded the playable and changed the layout to be more suitable for DvH.

My first ever map for Hidden. It was also one of the first custom maps for the mod. It was set in a swamp. The map was even smaller than Deathtrap and layout made it almost unplayable because of the lack of proper balancing. The mod was also very unbalanced at the time so it was just a mess. A fun mess! and people liked it (it also has something to do that the mod only had one offical map at the time).
