I've been chasing graphics realism in games and movies since I was probably 10 years of age when I first built a gaming pc. It's the reason I switched to Computer Science. Now after all these years of school and 2 years of co-op terms building up the foundation, I am following my interest and pursing graphics programming.
My previous co-op positions included:
-8 months Software engineering co-op at Blackberry working on BB10 OS UI
-8 months Software engineering co-op at IBM Canada working on front-end of Java Web App
-4 months Mobile IT Support at Region of York
-4 months System Test Associate at RIM
I'm interested in solving all sorts of computer graphics problems including physically based materials, GI, multi-threaded rendering, all while consciously aware about performance trade-off.
My other interests include video and sound processing, but I have not had the urge to dive into a open source project.
